Hi. I'm Sarah-Beth.
I'm a coach with a background in tech, a love of communication, and a passion for helping people find clarity and confidence in their next steps.
After more than 15 years working in tech in Waterloo Region, I decided it was time for a shift - and that’s what led me to coaching. I came here for the Co-op program at the University of Waterloo, where I studied English Rhetoric. From there, I took my love of communication, creativity, and critical thinking into local tech companies, helping bridge the gap between technology and the people using it.
Over the years, I took on roles in technical writing, training, community management, product management, and IT leadership. And in every role, the common thread was helping people connect what they really needed with the right tools, information, and just enough process to make it work.
By 2022, I found myself at a crossroads. I knew my next step had to focus more directly on people, and on using empathy, creativity, and communication to truly make a difference. So, I took the leap into coaching.
In July 2023, I wrapped up the Professional Goal-Centric Certified Coach program at Concordia University (it’s ICF-accredited, and I've since earned my ACC if you’re into credentials!). To make the experience even more meaningful, my husband and I packed up our lives and our two young kids and moved to Montreal for the year while I trained.
Now, I’m excited (and proud) to bring everything I’ve learned into my coaching practice, helping others navigate their own journeys with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
